Welcome to the BOXX PADEL League! Here’s everything you need to know about how our league operates:

League Format:

• Each league consists of 10 teams, with 2 players per team.
• Every team will play each other ONCE over the course of the season TO BEGIN WITH, ensuring plenty of competition and chances to improve.

Match Structure:

• Each match will be played TO 3 SETS OVER 90 MINS.
• The traditional tennis scoring system is used: Love, 15, 30, 40, Game. 1 X Deuce if the score is tied at 40 FOLLOWED BY GOLDEN POINT.
• if games are tied 6-6, TIE Breaker WILL BE PLAYED IN the SEVENTH GAME TO DECIDE A WINNER OF THE SET. 
• Match results will either be a win/LOSS or a draw.
• Win = 3 points, Draw = 1 point, LOSS = 0.
• IF EACH TEAM IS WINNING 1 SET AND THE THIRD SET IS INCOMPLETE DUE TO TIME, THE  MATCH WILL BE DECLARED A DRAW.
• THIS SCORING SYSTEM IS IN LINE WITH PLAYTOMIC RULES.

Set Difference:

• Along with points, we’ll also track the Set Difference and games difference. This will be used to determine standings in case of a tie in points.

Self-Governed Matches:

• Matches will be self-governed by the players, meaning there won’t be a referee.
• After each match, teams will report their results directly to playtomic.

Substitutions:

• Each team is allowed up to 2 authorised substitutions per season if one of the players is injured.
• A substitute cannot be a registered player for another team AND can NOT act as a sub for multiple teams in the league.

Match Days & Times:

Fees:

• The league ENTRY fees will be £100 PER TEAM. This will cover your participation in the season, match scheduling, and league management. We aim to keep the costs reasonable while ensuring a high-quality experience for all players. COURT BOOKINGS WILL BE CHARGED SEPARATELY AND PAYABLE TO THE CLUB DIRECTLY On gameday.
